Helpful information regarding ordering, shipping, returns, etc.

*** Payment***
The Vivi Dot Online Store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal. All orders are processed via PayPal (no PayPal account required) and your order information is encrypted during transmission using industry-standard ssl technology. For your own protection, it is required that your billing name and address match the credit card used for payment.

*** International Orders***
We now accept orders anywhere in the world! If you are ordering outside the US or Canada you will automatically be charged $5 for shipping via USPS First-Class International mail.

In the very rare case that shipping to your country is significantly higher than the $5 charge we will notify you via email that additional payment is required to process your order. We will then send you an invoice via email for the additional amount. Once the difference in the shipping charge is paid your order will be sent out as soon as possible. If you choose not to pay that additional amount, your original purchase amount will be refunded to you.

*** Tax***
Your tax rate is automatically applied based on your billing address. Like all online merchants, you will only be charged tax if you reside in the same state where Vivi Dot has a physical presence (California).

*** Order Processing***
Yahoo! Merchant Solutions is the technology provider Vivi Dot uses to operate our online store. This means that Yahoo! hosts the store pages, ordering system, and order data. This allows Vivi Dot to manage everything (how the store looks, add products, update your order status, etc), but doesn't require us to build out all of the technical functionality on our own. Because of this you will occasionally see the Yahoo! name or logo (in your order tracking link, on the URL icon, etc).

*** Shipping***
Packages are shipped as soon as they are ready. Because everything is hand made it takes approximately 2-4 days for the product to be made and have ample time to dry. If the item you ordered is already in stock, it will be sent out even sooner.
USPS - The cheapest shipping option is our $3.50 flat rate which is sent via the US Postal Service. There is no tracking or delivery time guarantees for this option, but if you don't need either of those, it's a good, cheap way to go.
USPS Priority Mail - This is another flat rate option ($5.55) that will get you your Vivi Dot items quicker than standard mail (typically within 2-3 days).
UPS - We also ship via UPS. The UPS options and their corresponding rates, delivery times, etc can be viewed at checkout (varies based on weight and location).
Pick up - If you're in the Bay Area and would like to pick up your order in the Richmond District of San Francisco please select the 'pick up' option at check out and we'll be in touch with you shortly to figure out a good pick up time and give you further instructions.

*** Packaging***
Your Vivi Dot order will be shipped with care in a small white box. Inside you'll find your items nestled in orange tissue and kraft krinkle paper.
Gift Enclosures - If you'd like a gift enclosure included in your shipment simply fill out the box at check out marked 'Include this message with my gift.'


*** Tracking Your Order***
If you'd like to track the progress of your order please keep the pre-selected box "E-mail me a copy of my order" checked when you checkout. Once you've placed your order you will receive an email confirming your purchase and a link to your order status page. Here you can track the progress of your order (shipping updates, etc) as well as any tracking numbers associated with your order (for UPS shipping options only).

*** Returns and Exchanges***
Returns are only accepted if there's an issue with the quality of your order. Please email orders @ ViviDotOnline.com if you have an issue with your order and we will work with you to remedy it.
Exchanges will be accepted within 14 days of purchase and must include the original packaging. You will be responsible for return shipping costs, the shipping of the new item(s) as well as any price difference. Please email orders @ ViviDotOnline.com if you plan to exchange an item and we'll give you more detailed instructions on how to do so.
Other Product Issues - If you run into any other issues with your Vivi Dot products (past the 14 day exchange window, etc) please don't hesitate to email us. First and foremost we want you to be a happy Vivi Dot customer!

*** Privacy***
Vivi Dot won't EVER sell or give away any information you give us when purchasing, signing up for our newsletter or any other time personal information may be exchanged.

We've set up an online pattern catalog to make it easy for you to place an order for something that's not currently in our online store. There are hundreds of prints to choose from and there's no additional charge for ordering Vivi Dot this way!

Shipping Preference: Select USPS or UPS (USPS is $2 with no tracking and no guaranteed delivery times vs. UPS which price and delivery time varies based on location but allows you to track your shipment and is guaranteed)

All orders take approximately 2-4 days to ship (I have to make them and give them ample time to dry). Once I receive your order I will send you an invoice via email that can be paid securely online with a credit card or a paypal account.

*** Custom Orders***
Though we aren't in the business of mass producing promotional pinback buttons we'd be happy to work with you on small batches of custom buttons and most order sizes for other custom products (magnets, bookmarks, earrings, or anything else we produce).
